This year's Musical Theater Lab writing prompt was a selection of photographic images posted on social media or submitted by the Prospect community. On Oct. 5th, writing teams were provided with a gallery of around 40 photos to review. On Oct. 8th, the images the writers selected were confirmed -- and we were off and writing! Below are the photos each team used as the inspiration to spark the creation of their short musical. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos for consideration.

Black Friday

A Midnight Dreary
