Prospect regularly offers internships or apprenticeships on our professional productions and during the summer, working on our Summer Intensive Program.  We craft each internship to meet the interests and schedule of the applicant.  Current students or recent grads seeking to learn more about internship opportunities should email a cover letter and resume to


On an annual basis — typically during June – August — Prospect selects a group of 4-6 early-career arts administrators, producers, and directors interested in working as Producing / Artistic Associates for its upcoming  season.   This program is a volunteer-based, hands-on apprentice-style training opportunity with the company.  Job responsibilities include cycling through assignments in marketing, fundraising, and special events, serving as Associate Producers / Assistant Directors for Prospect productions, and helping with other administrative or technical jobs as needed.   Ideal candidates will be able to function both as self-motivated and independent workers, as well as team players willing to have a stake in the overall success of the company’s work.  Applicants should have completed their undergraduate degree and be able to devote an average of 10 hours per week on an ongoing basis throughout the year-long program.  Those interested in the program should email a cover letter and resume to to be considered for the next program cycle.
