Dev Bondarin, Associate Artistic Director
Dev is happy to be in her seventh season with Prospect Theater Company, where she curates, directs, and produces the company’s annual musical theater lab. Past labs include Souvenir Stories (2011), Snapshots (2010), and Map Quest (2009). With Prospect, Dev also curated and co-directed the 2011 and 2010 Summer Intensive showcases and produced the Dark Nights Series from 2006-2009. Selected directing credits: Reefer Madness: The Musical (nominated for a New York Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Production of a Musical) and The House of Blue Leaves with The Gallery Players, Crossing Over with Discover: New Musicals presented by the National Asian Artists Project, A Home Across the Ocean with MTWorks, Romeo & Juliet in Prospect Park with EBE Ensemble, Thucydides at the Samuel French Festival (winner–published February 2010), and Raised By Lesbians at the New York International Fringe Festival. Dev has directed and developed work with Davenport Theatricals, Abingdon Theatre, Luna Stage, and On the Square Productions and serves on the reading committees for the New York Musical Theater Festival, Estrogenius, and the Leah Ryan Fund for Emerging Women Writers.
